Virtos is a boundary-breaking EV charging infrastructure provider, removing the constraints that are stalling the roll-out of transport electrification.
Their technology is making fleet electrification more reliable, affordable, flexible and scalable, accelerating the transition to net zero.
They asked to express their brand story in a way that would reflect the credibility and maturity of their systems, so the business could scale for generations to come.
Virtos came to us with a logo, colour palette and initial value proposition. Our job was to expand those foundations into a full brand system that represented the established business they are today.
This wasn’t just about crafting a design system or wordsmithing an authoritative tone of voice (as important as these things are). It was also about showcasing the technology that made their radical innovations possible, giving fleet operators an up-close demonstration of how the system works, why they should trust it and what makes it different to others.
By luxuriating in the details of their charging technology, we could show the world just how well-engineered their systems are. And tick off any lingering concerns that buyers might have about using them.
Our solution blended the heart of a pioneer with the head of an engineer, taking a visionary innovation and making it deeply practical.
On a high level, we gave the brand an electric sense of confidence. Bold typography, sharp flashes of colour and dynamic layouts convey an assertiveness that sits confidently among global leaders in the category.
We then brought things down to earth with the product renders. Detailed components, diagrams and meticulous details put the engineering brilliance firmly in the spotlight, accompanied by technical information about performance, output, uptime and specifications.
The tone of voice strikes the same subtle balance. Big, progressive statements express where Virtos is heading (freedom from limits), while clear, practical language explains how they’re getting there.
Every part of the brand was engineered to create the same impression: a company with the ambition to push EV charging forward and the technical rigour to back it all up.
