Combining plant ecology expertise with world-class mechatronic engineering, AirSeed Technologies embarked on a transformative journey to evolve from a drone-based planting solution into grovia—an holistic land rehabilitation enabler unlocking ecosystem restoration at scale. Partnering with TOAST, grovia sought a brand identity that reflects its expanded mission while driving urgency and momentum around biodiversity restoration and climate action.

As a leading supplier of land rehabilitation strategy and implementation for governments and major corporations in the mining and resources sector, grovia required a robust and compelling brand identity. The goal was to establish a brand that encapsulated the company's scientific expertise, technological innovation, and commitment to ecological restoration while reinforcing the urgency of addressing biodiversity loss and climate change. This required a brand that would not only support grovia’s evolution but also resonate with key stakeholders, driving engagement and trust in large-scale restoration efforts.

Solution

To support grovia’s business evolution, a strategic brand transformation was implemented. The new identity centres around a plant-inspired emblem, representing the four pillars of the business—science, people, technology, and nature. The tagline "It's Time" was introduced to instil a sense of urgency and momentum in tackling the climate crisis. The transformation began with brand immersion and competitor analysis to refine grovia’s positioning within the industry. A comprehensive brand strategy was then developed to align with grovia’s expanded capabilities and long-term vision. UI/UX/CX mapping was undertaken to enhance the digital user experience and customer engagement, resulting in a refreshed digital presence that effectively communicates grovia’s mission and services. A revitalised brand identity was created to appeal to government agencies and corporations within the mining and resources sector. By integrating science, technology, and a deep commitment to environmental restoration, stands as a powerful force in land rehabilitation, equipped with a brand that reflects its mission and drives action at scale.
