Fairview, built upon a foundation of excellence and forward-thinking, excels in delivering top-tier facade solutions throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. The company, founded by Andrew Gillies, building upon his father’s industrial paint coating business, has thrived over three decades, upholding its founding client-centric, family values.
Safety and aesthetics are paramount to Fairview's committed team as they navigate the dynamic realm of Australian construction. Emphasising community engagement, Fairview builds enduring relationships and champions regulatory compliance. However, while their values have endured since their business’ inception, the growth and reputation of the company is not being represented in their brand identity. Thus, TOAST was engaged to re-establish their brand positioning and strategic identity to bring it up to date with their reputable presence.
Revamping Fairview's branding and website posed an exciting yet complex challenge to our team here at TOAST. The task involved seamlessly blending the company's rich heritage with its forward-looking vision, encapsulating its commitment to quality, innovation and community.
Our team embarked on a journey to redefine Fairview's identity, ensuring it resonated with modern audiences while honouring its longstanding legacy. We aimed to create a visually captivating website that not only showcased Fairview's extensive range of façade solutions but also conveyed its dedication to safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Balancing tradition with modernity, we sought to craft a brand narrative that captivated stakeholders and positioned Fairview as a leader in the industry.
Through meticulous design and strategic storytelling, we embarked on a mission to elevate Fairview's brand presence and set the stage for continued success in the ever-evolving construction landscape.
When Fairview first approached us back in 2015, they’d acquired an impressive reputation for their dedication to safety, quality and customer satisfaction. But while their reputation had grown, their brand had stayed the same. Our task was to bring the brand in line with the business and set the stage for the next phase of Fairview’s evolution.
We developed a new look and feel that doubled down on the premium presence they were known for: clear-cut, interlocking lines spoke to the meticulous craft of their façades, while the entire visual identity seamlessly integrated tradition with innovation, enhancing trust with the architects, builders and installers they wanted to influence.
By harmonising every brand element, we created a cohesive narrative that reinforced Fairview's position as a leading industry leader.
This positioning laid a strong foundation for success. But ten years later, their product portfolio had expanded across a range of materials and building types (especially residential). With their offering significantly enhanced, they needed to refresh their brand so it captured the collective value of their beautiful new façades.
Our deep immersion in the brand via qualitative interviews, quantitative surveys and stakeholder engagement unearthed a twin truth about these products. Their façades didn’t just work on a practical level, they were aesthetically inspiring, too. Looking beautiful and working beautifully all the way through. Not only was this a unique proposition in a cluttered category, it played well with their target audience: as professionals who span both design and construction performance, architects ultimately want to choose a façade that delivers on both levels.
